24 June 2026
The Power of Youth Charter is a commitment: a promise from organisations to share power with young people, ensuring they have a genuine role in shaping the decisions that affect them and their communities.
Since we celebrated it together on Power of Youth Day on 2nd June, the momentum hasn’t slowed. Across the country, organisations are continuing to step forward, choosing to share power with young people, and to back that choice with real action. That’s not a single moment. It’s an ongoing commitment that keeps growing, week after week.
And as part of this movement, you’ve helped make it possible.
In the past few weeks:
- 33 signatories joined
- 51 young people stepped into changemaker roles
So far this year:
- Over 60 organisations have signed the Charter
- Over 200 young people have stepped into changemaker roles
Every one of these numbers is a young person who’s been encouraged to raise their voice, and an organisation that has chosen to listen. That’s the kind of change that reshapes how communities work, one decision at a time.
Welcome to our newest signatories

We want to say a huge thank you and a warm welcome to every organisation who has taken the time to sign the Power of Youth Charter in recent weeks.
Whether you’ve been part of the movement for a while or joined recently, we’d love you to keep sharing your journey and to continue championing the power of young people in your work.
And if you know other organisations who share this vision – organisations that believe young people deserve a seat at the table, not just a seat in the room – encourage them to join you.
Welcome to the movement!
