Power of Youth Day is coming!

In a world where young voices are increasingly recognized as powerful agents of change, #PowerOfYouthDay stands as a testament to the impact and potential inherent in the younger generation. Organised by the #iwill Movement, this day is not just a celebration; it’s a call to action, an invitation for individuals and businesses to unite in recognising, empowering, and providing opportunities for the leaders of tomorrow.

This year, we celebrate Power of Youth Day on Tuesday 4th June, during Volunteers’ Week. Our theme this year is #BeThatPerson.  

We’re urging individuals to reflect on the impact they can have in empowering young people. By signing the Power of Youth Charter, one commits to being that guiding force, that mentor, or that support system every young person deserves. It’s a call to action to collectively be the change we wish to see.

So, what can you do to celebrate the Power of Youth this year? 

Power of Youth Day is part of Volunteers’ Week which is taking place between 3-9 June. Volunteers’ Week is an annual celebration of the contribution millions of people make across the UK through volunteering in their communities. This year, we celebrate 40 years of Volunteers’ Week and look to inspire more people to make a difference.
