ABOUT POWER OF YOUTH DAY

Power of Youth Day is a national awareness day led by the #iWill Movement, recognising the leadership, insight and impact of young people across the UK.

Taking place on Tuesday 2nd June, during Volunteers’ Week, Power of Youth Day invites organisations, decision-makers and communities to reflect on how young people are involved in shaping the world around them – and what it means to genuinely listen, share power and act on young people’s voices.

The day encourages practical action, from creating meaningful youth leadership opportunities to signing the Power of Youth Charter, a public commitment to embed youth voice in decision-making and organisational culture.

Volunteers' Week

Power of Youth Day is part of Volunteers’ Week, an annual celebration of the contribution millions of people make across the UK through volunteering in their communities.
