Extinguish Programme

This is an education-based intervention scheme that is aimed at those under the age of 18 to help address fire-setting behaviour.  The programme works on a referral basis, with referrals forwarded mainly from the Youth Offending Team although it is open to everyone.  The intervention adopts a child/young person-led approach with each case being assessed and a bespoke education plan being implemented. Assessment and delivery of the programme usually takes place in the home of the child/young person.
