• To fully establish our ‘Mulberry Pledge’ (commencing the academic year 2013 / 14) as an entitlement for all pupils at Mulberry by the end of this academic year. The Pledge sets out 10 areas of personal action that focus on both enriching the individual and improving educational outcomes as well as making a tangible contribution to positive social change.
  • All pupils in Years 7 – 11 at Mulberry School for Girls must fulfil each element of the Mulberry Pledge which includes under-taking an active Citizenship project, a fund-raising activity, a public arts performance, a public speaking activity, participation in a residential visit to build skills in resilience and determination, take part in activities which support learning about work and employment and undertake some kind of voluntary service to the school’s community.
  • Evidence is gathered by pupils and built into a portfolio of achievement. All pupils at Mulberry will know that they are entitled to these opportunities as part of their curricular and extra-curricular learning. The school has pledged to provide this entitlement.
