We set up Giki Social Enterprise to help everyone reduce their environmental impact. We believe human impacts on our planet are too great and we provide a simple, easy-to-use, free app that helps you understand what’s in the products you use, and what impact they have on the planet. Our aim is to empower people to make sustainable choices by providing independent, easy to access, transparent information on environmental, social and health issues by rating over 280,000 supermarket products across thirteen areas

including:  carbon footprint; sustainable palm oil; responsible sourcing; organic; healthier options and better packaging.

Giki supports children and young adults through schools and universities to make sustainable choices and to encourage others to do the same.

We pledge to:

  • Develop new, youth-friendly social action opportunities
  • Promote and celebrate the positive role young people can play through social action
  • We pledge to work with children and young adults to use Giki so they can reduce their own environmental impacts and encourage their own communities to follow their lead.
