• Shropshire CCG pledges to continue to support young people in the county to understand their own health needs and to help them to make positive choices about their health and wellbeing. We recognise that we are guardians of local NHS services for future generations and that young people have a right to not only be heard but to be genuinely involved in the co-creation and development of services now and in the future.
  •  The CCG will do this by championing the vital work of the Shropshire Young Health Champions. Specifically it will listen to the Young Health Champions and take action to support their ideas and work. The CCG is committed to developing their personal skills, increasing levels of confidence and self-esteem. The CCG appreciates and values all that young people bring to enrich our organisation and communities and is committed to providing the infrastructure to support this to ensure young people taking part are safe, happy and achieving their potential.
  •  The Young Health Champions will, in turn, help the CCG and all Shropshire people by gifting their time to work with local health services ensuring young people’s needs are understood and addressed.  They will also work to identify areas of need and generate projects that bring about solutions.”
