Where have we been?
Over the past seven years, we have built a movement for change. Thanks to the collective efforts of #iwill partners and supporters, more organisations and young people across the UK are working together to grow the #PowerOfYouth. Read our 2019 Impact Report for more insight.
Despite everything we have achieved together, too often young people’s voices are excluded. This has to change. As a country, we still fail to recognise, harness or celebrate the power of young people to make a positive difference.
We face an unprecedented set of challenges. Children and young people have been one of the groups hardest hit by the pandemic. Now, more than ever, we must listen to young people, work with them, and empower them to be changemakers.
As planned, Step Up To Serve will come to a close at the end of 2020. After consultation with partners and young people, the proposal is for #iwill to continue up to the end 2025, with broadened Impact Goals, increased youth leadership, newly constituted partnerships and networks, and organisations delivering the Power of Youth Charter.
We are looking for organisations to deliver backbone support functions for the #iwill movement, including an organisation to host a central coordination hub, and delivery partners to manage the Ambassador & Champion network, and to gather evidence and insights to shape collective action.

How was this document made?
#iwill partners, Ambassadors and Steering Groups have shaped the key values and priorities for #iwill post-2020 through a series of strategic consultations over the last year.
You can join one of two webinars on the 13th and 20th of October to get further detail on the process, sign up below. The deadline for initial expressions of interest is Wednesday 28th October. Applications will then be assessed by a panel of partners, funders and young people. The successful organisations will be announced on Tuesday 8th December. The Step Up To Serve team will then support transition in December.
