The event was chaired by two of our young trustees, Ceylon Andi Hickman and Saeed Atcha MBE. Young people made up more than a quarter of attendees, with other attendees including leaders from the business, voluntary, public, education and faith sectors. You can view full biographies of attendees here.
At the event, HRH made clear his long lasting passion for youth participation, and expressed his feeling that we must ‘take young people seriously’ in the difference they want to make in their communities.
Chair of Step Up To Serve, Sir Nick Parker, said “As reflected throughout the event, we are only able to make progress due to the support from our partners and the many organisations that have pledged to the #iwill campaign that are helping to drive impact.
Thank you to all our partners for you have done – and for all your further commitments on the day about what you can do to support in the coming 20 months and beyond.”
