I’m Holly and last week I started in my new role as Head of Partnerships and Impact for #iwill. It’s been an exciting time to join, and I am eager to start working with you all in our mission to take #iwill from a campaign to a movement!

Over the coming weeks I’d really like to meet as many of you as possible – young #iwill Ambassadors, partners, funders and stakeholders. If you’d like to get in touch directly, then please get in touch – my email is holly.notcutt@volunteeringmatters.org.uk

I’m keen that we keep everyone involved in the #iwill movement up to date, so we will be posting regular updates here over the coming weeks and months.

Power Of Youth day packs are out: have you got yours?

The efforts and actions of young people across the UK are central to the #iwill movement. We all play a key role in recognising the work of young people in growing the #iwill movement. Power of Youth day, on 2 June, is our opportunity to shine a light on this great work across the UK  – recognising the strength and resilience young people have shown throughout the pandemic.

We want the #iwill movement to share young people’s stories and experiences, using #PowerOfYouth,  to ensure they are part of the solution as society recovers from the pandemic.

And finally…

Next week we’re interviewing candidates for Digital Communications Manager role. It’s an exciting new role, designed to work closely alongside Ambassadors and the wider movement. The role will be help create opportunities for storytelling that showcases the Power of Youth. It will highlight the impact young people have in communities across England, Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland.

We’ll update everyone when the candidate is in post so that they can get to know everyone and we can work together to fulfil our vision for #iwill beyond 2021.
