I started volunteering in 2019 and I have found my passion to be within social justice and campaigning. Some of my most senior roles to date include being a Deputy Member of Youth Parliament and the vice chair for Kent Youth County Council, and I will soon be progressing to the role of chair. I am also involved with over 11 organisations including Headstart Kent, The Violence Reduction Unit in Kent, Army Cadets, Youth Resilience UK and Sheppey FM. I am also incredibly passionate about environmental conservation and am involved in The War On Waste Project, The Green Committee and Action for Conservation. Within these organisations I have completed community work involving litter picking. Beyond my own service, I have also actively campaigned for these types of organisations and for the wellbeing of young people throughout the pandemic. This has involved carrying out interviews for a TV channel and two newspapers, as well as being involved in workshops to educate large groups of people.
I can’t wait to get started with the work as an #IWill ambassador!
