Fiona is currently seconded from the Step Up To Serve team to The National Lottery Community Fund to work on the #iwill Fund a couple of days a week as well as being Associate Director of Partnerships supporting work with the environment strands of work.
Fiona has been involved in a number of initiatives across the youth sector. From developing the Young Achievers Awards; to supporting the development of a ground-breaking programme of work at the National Union of Students, on student opportunities engagement; to most recently at GoThinkBig developing work experience opportunities for young people.
From being involved with the guiding movement as a child to setting up a sports volunteering programme whilst at Loughborough University to serving as a Trustee of Volunteering England, social action has always been part of her life. In her spare time she plays netball and leads a double life as an army wife.

I’m hugely passionate about opening up opportunities so all young people have the chance to be involved in social action. I’m looking forward to supporting a breadth of opportunities whilst at Step Up To Serve to really create a meaningful change in the landscape.”
