I used to be angry about my negative experiences of trying to engage with mental health services. To channel this frustration, I got involved with The Mentality Project.
Through this, I’ve helped inform young people about their mental health rights, as well as training professionals, creating resources and writing policies.
I’m also involved in other projects that help young people make their voices heard, including the NHS Youth Forum, Make Our Rights a Reality and The Health Foundation.
My social action projects are why I get out of bed every day. They give me hope for the future.
