Why wait until tomorrow?
At a time of heightened social division, more than ever we need young people to be active citizens. They aren’t just the leaders of tomorrow. Young people have the energy, skills and ideas to improve society and our environment today.
Right now, 4 in 10 young people aged between 10 and 20 get involved in activities that make a positive difference to others or the environment. But we know that almost twice as many want to. They just need the chance.
We also know that young people themselves benefit from taking social action: it develops their employability skills, boosts their further and higher education options, and increases their well-being.
It’s a win-win – for young people and communities.
