Youth Employment UK

  • Showcase examples of great youth social action opportunities on the YEUK website to encourage more organisations to support the development of youth social action.
  • Incorporate youth social action into the “Youth Friendly” badge and framework
  • Nominate our YEUK Youth Ambassadors to become #iwill ambassadors
  • Provide opportunities for YEUK partners to know more about the role they can play in supporting youth social action within their organisations through recognising the value of youth social action in recruitment
  • Provide membership to YEUK and cross-support at events

Since pledging, Youth Employment UK has embedded the principles of good social action into our national Volunteer Ambassador Programme.
Youth Employment UK has also encouraged businesses to recognise social action on a young persons job application/and or CV, building this into our Youth Friendly Employer Charter.

Quote from Laura-Jane Rawlings, CEO
“Youth Employment UK is committed to seeing youth unemployment reduced and know that social action can be a fundamental way for young people to build the skills, confidence and experience to progress. The #iwill campaign allows us an organisation to promote the great work young people get involved in within their communities and nationally and it is important to us to recognise the achievements of young people and help employers to recognise and celebrate that too.”
